KINGSWOOD  VILLAGE CRICKET CLUB

Kingswood Village Cricket Club

Welcome to Kingswood Village Cricket Club

There was a Cricket club in Kingswood before the First World War.

The current Club was re-formed in 1978 and has since thrived. We adhere to the Corinthian style of cricket and play only friendly matches i.e No league cricket. Our games normally take place on Sunday, but we do play the occasional Wednesday night, 20-overs match, against local opposition. During the winter months there are indoor practice nets held at KLB school.

The present Club is a happy mix of ages from 15 all the way up to 65+.

Sunday matches usually start at 2.30 pm and are held on the Playing Fields with the renowned Kingswood Tea taken in the Village Hall.

There is also a Tour to Devon every year and this year's dates are from the 20th to the 22nd of June.

We always welcome new members of all ability - even if you've only ever watched a Cricket match on TV, then we could be the Club for you. We are a very social and sociable Club.

You will find the current fixture list by using the link on the left.

Just wander up and introduce yourself. We look forward to seeing you.
